1978 Honda 750 Super Sport - $2,000 O.B.O. Honda Introduced the four cylinder - single overhead cam - four carb CB 750 in 1969. This 1978 Super Sport is a classic example of smoothness and power of the first really powerful Japanese bike imported to the U.S. The odometer on this bike shows a little more than 20k miles (see photo), although we cannot tell if that is accurate. The motor appears to be the original, and, after it warms up (it is cold-blooded), this thoroughbred runs smooth and has that get up and go that always made the Honda seem like a much bigger bike than just 750cc. Silencer was just repacked, and we've added a tilt-up luggage rack. Cover is included. A great bike for around town and out in the country, with electric start and sport fairing. Cruises very nicely at 65-70 mph. |
